Are you heard about keyloggers ? Actually what is keyloggers . This a software programme or hardware device used to store your informations from keyboards . Keyloggers are mainly used by hackers for hacking your detials from the input devices . Majority people for used to find the passwords .

What about in linux OS ? Today i would like to share a best and working method to get keylogger for linux OS . Follow my steps .

Install keylogger in Linux

Steps : 

> Here my OS is ubuntu 12.04 . You can use any linux version operating system .
Method 1 :
> Open Ubuntu Software center  , type logkey in the search box .logkey is a software only for GNU/Linux.

> You can see a logkeys software tool . Click on the icon and you can get a button for installation .

Method 2 :

> You can install logkeys with a teminal .
> Go to dash and type terminal . Open the terminal .

> Type this installation command using terminal .
sudo apt-get install logkeys
 > After sucessfull Installation , type this command .
touch yourfile.log
> Note: ( You can write any name intead of yourfile ) . This will create a yourfile.log file in your home folder . All the keystrokes will saved in this file .

> Next ,Type the below command to start this application and save your keystrokes to yourfile.log file .


sudo logkeys --start --output yourfile.log
> So this Application will save your keystrokes to yourfile.log file . To view this file you must close this running application by this command .


sudo logkeys --kill
> After that to read the keystokes from the file using this command .
strings filename.log
> That's it . You can get the keystrokes or ntered passwords through this yourfile.log file .
