Introducing Windows 10 operating system : A Review compared with Windows 8 OS

Microsoft Announced their latest version of Operating system Windows  10 will release soon this year . They shocked again all the Microsoft users including me . Recently Microsoft releases their new updated Windows 8 Operating System . I think all of us uses and experienced their performance . When compared with Windows 7 , I think you are all not get entire satisfactions . Is it ?

When Microsoft announces their latest updated OS , the first question normally , is it any peculiarities than Windows 8 OS ? The other interesting one is it's Name controversy .We know the previous names windows 7 , Windows 8 . Compare with these terms , the next names should be windows 9 but Microsoft announced it is Windows 10 .The next one is their continuous up gradation . All of us bored the system up gradation when they upgrade their latest versions through out 2 years .

The latest Microsoft announcement is ,the company ensure that this is the best version of windows operating system . That means they are not interested in the next version but I am not sure .

Advantages of Windows 10 Operating System

Start Menu :

• The design of the windows 10 is similar to windows 8 OS but using this version we can use it in all laptops , Tablet PC , Smart phones , Game Console etc. All the related plugins we can download via single cloud store ( It may priced also ) 
• The missing start menu in windows 8 is should appear in latest version but we can also get tile menu too . The start menu is divided in to half start menu and half start screen . We can also get the Applications via screen also .

• We can get Calender , Mail , News etc applications via start screen ( using right tiles ) .You can customized your start menu according to your size also .
• At the side of top menu account name , you can get the shout down , restart options.

Metro Applications :

• When power on the system , you can get the metro applications window . The difference in windows 10 metro application when compared to Windows 8 metro , they have closing icons , maximizing and minimize options . When shortly say , You can get the same size application like metro application when download via store .

Updated Command prompt :

• The most interesting update is command prompt copy option .We can use ALT+V short cut options for pasting directory path to command prompt . It is not active in all other previous Windows OS .

Virtual Desktop and Task View

• The next peculiarities of the windows 10 OS is it's task view . We can get all the opened Application through task view and also it helps to create virtual desktop . 
• You can see task view interface when clicking on the task view button .You can add a desktop also . This is similar to ALT+ tab in previous versions .

Snap Enhancements

• Though quadrant layout , we can snap 4 applications in a single screen .

The real thing is today, Only Windows 10  technical preview is released .You can expect more features in real operating system . Today the technical world is controlled by android and Apple OS . I think Windows realize the truth and they changes their mind through this operating system . We can expect a change and hope to get success .

We want some time to protect my usb drive from the third party users. There are lot of methoda today available . I would like to show how to protect your pendrive write protected by editing the registry files. After done the write protection ,You can't copy any files to your pendrive.

 

 Steps :

> Insert your pendrive to your USB drive. Check it is not write protected (checking by copy any thing to your USB)

> Press windows+R or run .Type regedit. Press enter.

 

> After that you can see a window like this image

 

> Click on arrow near HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE and click on arrow of SYSTEM and CurrentControlSet

> Right click on the control and add new key

> After creating new key, change the name of new key to StorageDevicePolices

 

 > Right click on the StorageDevicePolicies, New >DWORD(32-bit)

 

> Right click on the write protected file of DWORD(32-bit) and click manage .

 

> Change the value Data to 1 .

 

 

> Thats It. You done! Remove the pendrive and again plug in to drive and check it.Yeah it become write protectd

Multibooting , Virtualization process : Overview on GNU/LINUX and WINDOWS

I think today most of the people leaves windows OS and going behind to the linux operating system. Linux operating systems like Ubuntu versions are one of the most popular among the operating systems. Compared to the windows operating system, Linux opearting system are mostly focusing on speed and security. But some time we need both operating system for running Applications. We know GTA is one of the world popular games and they work only in windows platforms but some other programes like SDK need linux too. Multi Booting

Actually that name indicates its function. It helps to boot different operating systems together on a system. Multi booting or dual booting helps to keep both operating system in a system. For example we can run windows and linux OS on one system together.

How can i install it ?

You can install ubuntu Os via a bootable CD or USB. At the time of installation, they ask you to install this Os along with other OS. For example when installing Ubuntu Os on windows, they ask install ubuntu along on windows after Putting bootable CD on Drive .  The another option is make a manual partioning. You can make a space for Ubuntu in your system via partioning at the time of installtion process. After the sucessful installation, the system ask which OS do you want to open at the time of system boot up.

Virtualization

The above details only based on single operating system. Virtualization process help you to run the opertaing system with in Another Operating system.We can load your second OS via CD or USB other than hardisk. There are lot of virtualization application freely availble today. 

How can i done Virtualization ?

I alredy said there are lot of virtualization application freely availble .VMware, KVM are the most important application for windows and linux.

 

Steps:

 

> Install One of the Application in your OS (windows/linux versions)

 

> For example, If you want to open another OS with in windows, then the one of any virtualization application must installed on windows and vice-versa.  

 

> After that using this Applicaton we can install new OS ( right click - via create a new virtualization ) . The programe actually create a virtual machine on your OS.

 

> After sucessfull installation using this virtualization application, you can load that new OS at any time from the current OS using this application.

> If you want to load previously installed OS on your hardisk ,You can done through this applications too.
