After that they think about how can i block such sites in my browser . Don't worry ! Today i like to share a tutorial about how to block certain web sites from your web browser in windows . Let us look .
Here i show about URL address blocking using local host method. We can manually add some adress to the windows local files . look these steps :
Steps :
> Go to Start - All programs - Accessories - open Notepad (Run as administrator).
> Clik on File - Open and open this path file C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc
> You can see some files there . Open the host file from that.
> You can see some codes like this image.
> To block certain web sites , you can add their URL address by (Example : Here i use facebook URL )
> Add following code just below # 127.0.0.1 localhost
# blocking facebook> Like this you can manually add URL address of any websites that we want to block .
127.0.0.1 www.facebook.com
127.0.0.1 login.facebook.com
127.0.0.1 blog.facebook.com
127.0.0.1 apps.facebook.com
> Now save this file. That's it .You are done !
> After that open any browser and try to go to the blocked website URL . You can see the block messages .
